With over 10,000 books banded to the UK reading level framework, the app gives teachers instant access to a comprehensive, regularly updated database. Search by title, author or ISBN, filter by band colour or book type, and find the perfect match for every reader in seconds.
Unlike traditional app-based tools, Sheels Book Banding App is fully web-based — meaning no downloads, no installations, and no device restrictions. Any teacher in your school can log in from any browser, whether that's a laptop in the classroom, a tablet in the library, or a phone at home.
If a book isn't in the database yet, teachers can submit a request directly through the app and it will be added.
